Admission and withdrawal

  • For admission to LKG, a child should complete 4 years of age on 1st June of the School year in which admission is sought.
  • The Child must have completed 6 years of age on 1st June for class I and corresponding age for admissions to other classes.
  • An attested copy of Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth and Death (Panchayat / Municipality/Corporation) is compulsory at the time of admission in K. G. Classes and class I.
  • Transfer certificate should be submitted by the candidates for other classes.
  • Candidates coming from states outside Kerala will have to get their TC, counter signed by the District Educational officer of the concerned state where the school is situated.
  • A  promoted UKG student should submit the application to get admission to class I.
  • Application for T.C. should be submitted at the office by the parents a week  in advance.
  • The transfer certificate will not be issued unless all dues to the  school have been paid.
  • Admissions are subjected to the availability of seats and be made on the basis of the entrance test.

Attendence & Leave of Absence

  • Leave of absence is granted only for genuine reasons. Request for leave must be noted on the ‘Leave Record’ in the diary.
  • Prior permission is required for availing leave in normal cases. Leave more than 2 days is to be granted by the principal.
  • A pupil who is absent for 15 consecutive days without leave application will have his/her name stuck off from the rolls.
  • A pupil may not be allowed to sit for annual examinations if he/she has not put in minimum of 85% of the total attendance of the academic year.

Examination and Promotion

  • There will be three examinations in the course of the year quarterly, Half yearly, Annual examinations and 2 unit tests.
  • Students absent from the examination for any reason are not re-examined in any case.
  • Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of the student.
  • To determine eligibility for promotion the avarage of all the three examination and 2 unit tests will be considered.
  • There will be no re-tests.
  • The minimum marks required for passing in each subject in aggregate will be 40%.
  • Failure in important subjects like English, Malayalam and Maths is sufficient reason for not granting promotion.
